Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. Nominate a member involved in your community!
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the accession to the Throne of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Canada’s longest reigning Sovereign and the first to celebrate a platinum jubilee.
To commemorate this historic milestone and to reflect on Canada’s storied relationship with the Queen, Platinum Jubilee pins will be distributed to my fellow constituents of Kootenay-Columbia. It will be an honour for me to hand out these pins, which will be awarded to community members who have shown a commitment to making the lives of their neighbours better.
You could nominate a first responder, front line worker, community volunteer, organizational leader, caregiver or anyone who has had a positive impact on the community!
